The Past President Advisory Committee:

As we begin the new year we would like to remind you that this is everyone’s club and we encourage more members to step up to the plate, taking an active role in our attempt to make the Renaissance Club more viable to our members and the community, to continue to grow and prosper. Please do not hesitate to contact me or any member of the Advisory Committee if you have any concerns or suggestions.

The advisory committee will be chaired on a revolving basis every month for the advisory and regular meetings. The schedule is as follows:

Advisory committee meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday and General meetings the 2nd Wednesday of the month all are invited to attend.


Sunshine Committee Report:

Spaghetti Night :

Scholarship Report:
REMINDER THAT--Scholarship Applications: The Renaissance Club will again offer 2 scholarships of $250.00 to graduating seniors of our area high schools. The applicant must be a relative (son, daughter, grandchild) of a member in good standing of the Renaissance Club. Packets can be picked up at the club. Completed applications must be returned by mail. Application deadline isMarch 18, 2013.
Lotto:
Vince Dell ‘lsola is selling the 2013 Lotto books. The new lotto begins on March 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014. Captains can pick up their books at the club or call 695-6129 and leave a message for Vince and he will contact you. Calendars are still available at the bar. Lotto books are $30.00. The three digit New York State EVENING DRAW number is the number that is used to determine the winner. Lotto is one of our major fund-raisers for the club. Your support is greatly appreciated

Renaissance Club WEB Site is now up and running

Our club WEB page is up and running. Go to www.RenClub.org and see our new and updated WEB site. Going forward you can go there and find out a lot of information i.e. coming events, the Piccolo, sunshine committee and other information that we want to get out to the members on a real time basis.. Dave Fill is our WEB Master so send him the information you would like to put out to the members about your event or function.

BOOK FAIR:

The club is going to have its first ever Book Fair. This is where you can bring your adult or children’s books and swap them for books you haven’t read or donate them. The donated books will be given to an organization like Camp Good Days or some other needy organization.

This will take place at the club on Saturday March 2nd from noon till 3 pm. The Chairman is Bob Gibson and he can be reached at 694-2547 with questions or volunteering to help out. Hope to see you there.

Wednesday June 5,2013- 9a.m. leave for tour of Amish Country. Shop at Kitchen Kettle Village and Bird in Hand Farmers Mkt. (if open) Lunch at Kitchen Kettle. Leave after lunch for 3 pm matinee show “Broadway Forever” at American Theater. After the show, dinner at Shady Maple Rest.

Thursday June 6, 2013- Leaving after breakfast 9 am for the Hollywood Casino. Receive $35.00 casino bonus and $5.00 food coupon. Leave for home 1p.m. arrive home approx. 7 pm.
